May Maiko Week 2019 is now one week away! Spring is here and it’s almost time to share the fruits of our labors and celebrate our favorite pair of royal turtledorks!
The prompts and dates are:
- May 6: Ending
- May 7: Quiet
- May 8: Blood
- May 9: Childhood
- May 10: Connection
- May 11: Endure
- May 12: Beginning
Submission guidelines:
Just tag your submissions with the following tag and one of the mods will find it and distribute it to the masses accordingly: #MayMaikoWeek2019
We will also be checking the usual ship tags, #atla maiko and #zumai, as well as #idonthatemaiko, so you’re welcome to use those tags too.
Please note that Maikos are apprentice Geikos, which are a type of Japanese performer, and as such we do not generally check the #maiko tag.
Unfortunately the Tumblr tagging and sorting feature is notoriously poor. To be on the safe side, you may wish to @ the conmunity. And as ever, if we miss your post and wish it to be included, please feel free to PM the community mods, @attackfish and @maiisbuns.
